Planning a raid: line-up, bench and availability
How raid events work, how members mark availability, and why the same person cannot be signed on two characters.
Who can do what on the site, and why roles are kept apart from profiles.
Member is the default. Raid leader creates and runs teams, up to five each. Helper assists one specific team, two per team. Admin manages members, roles and editorial work. Owner is a single account with everything, established once at setup.
Guild access is a separate switch from roles. It marks you as part of the guild and is what opens applications, invitations and raid participation.
Roles are stored in a table of their own rather than on your profile, and every check happens on the server. That means editing your own profile can never grant you rights you were not given.
Every role change, access change and editorial decision is written to a log that owners and admins can read.
Written by the editorial team; reflects the current permission model.
