Roles and permissions

Account vs. guild access

Your account, your guild access and your team responsibilities are three separate things. An account gives you a profile and lets you post on the forum, but you’ll also need guild access to apply to teams and join raids. To get it, connect your Discord and complete the server’s access requirements. You can check your current access on your profile at any time.

Team members

Once you’re on a team, you can view its roster and raids, respond to signups, and see who’s in the lineup and who’s on the bench. If you decide to leave, you keep your profile and characters.

Raid Leaders

Raid Leaders run their own teams and can create up to five. They handle recruitment and membership, review applications, send invitations and organise raids. To share the work, they can appoint up to two Helpers per team.

Helpers

Helpers work alongside the Leader on the day-to-day running of a team: managing the roster, handling applications and invitations, updating team details and planning raids. Their access applies only to that team, so they can’t create new teams, delete the team or transfer its leadership.

Admins and the Owner

Admins and the Owner look after the community as a whole, including global roles and editorial work. These responsibilities are separate from leading or helping a team.

The Discord bot

The Discord bot keeps team roles in sync with membership and leadership. Leaders and Helpers can use its team-management commands, but only for the teams they’re authorised to manage. A role on one team doesn’t give you any control over other teams.
