Planning a raid: lineup, bench and availability

How a raid is created

A Raid Leader or Helper creates each raid with its date, start and end times, raid size, and any notes the team needs. The raid then appears on the website, and the bot posts a signup message in the team’s raid-signup channel on Discord. The two stay in sync, so a change made in one place shows up in the other.

Signing up

Before you answer, check the raid’s date and time. Then pick the response that fits:

• Sign up — if you can make it.
• Tentative — if you’re not sure yet.
• Decline — if you can’t attend.

Choose the character, specialisation and role you plan to bring. You can also leave a note that only the Leader, Helpers and staff can read.

Changing your answer

Plans change, so you can use “Edit signup” to update your details while the raid is still open. “Withdraw” removes your response entirely. If you already know you can’t make it, though, declining is more useful than withdrawing, because it gives the team a clear answer instead of a blank.

Reminders

If you haven’t answered, the bot can remind you 48, 24 and 12 hours before the raid. Answering early, even with a decline, makes planning much easier for your team.

Lineup and bench

Signing up doesn’t guarantee you a place in the raid. The Leader or Helpers decide who goes into the lineup and who stays on the bench, and the whole team can see both. Each account gets one signup per raid, so you can’t take more than one spot by signing up on different characters.
