How to create a raid team

From sign-in to a published team page: what raid leaders need, the limits that apply, and how members join.

Before you start

You need an account and the raid leader role. Roles are handed out by the owner or an admin, so ask in the guild if you do not have it yet. A raid leader may run up to five teams at a time.

Creating the team

Sign in, open Raid teams and choose Create raid team. Give the team a name, a schedule, a play style, a short description and the roles you are looking for. The name becomes the public team page straight away.

Who sees what

The public page shows the schedule, the style, the description and the open roles. The roster itself is private: only signed-in members of the team, its helpers and staff can see who is on it.

Helpers

Each team can have up to two helpers. A helper can manage applications, invitations and raid planning with you, but cannot hand out roles or delete the team. The limit is enforced in the database, so it holds even if two people act at the same moment.

Filling the roster

Players with guild access can apply from the team page, and you can send invitations the other way. Accepting is a single atomic step, so nobody ends up half-joined.
